Pre-K is a stepping stone to Kindergarten and the world beyond. Finding the right pre-school for your little learners need not be difficult. Light of the World Childcare Centre’s objective is to prepare your child for that transition. Preschool programs are usually for children between the ages of 2.5 and 4 years old. They are often open only during the school year, for only part of the day.

Our goal is to support our students through open-ended activities while still catering to the individual needs of each child. We provide a fun environment that mirrors a kindergarten setting including literacy and numeracy activities, and project-based science and art experiences.

Using age-appropriate lessons, our teachers encourage cooperative play as well as collaborative problem-solving. Throughout, we will communicate with you about our curriculum, keeping you informed of your child’s progress.

By acquiring a sense of daily routines, getting accustomed to interacting in a group setting, and developing their independence and self-reliance, our students are prepared for the school years that lay ahead.
