Featuring O'Neill's top of the line UltraFlex XDS neoprene, Firewall insulation, 100 percent seal with Fluid Seam Weld, Strategic Paddle Zones, and LSD lumbar seamless design, the Mutant is ready to take on the water. With 5/4 millimeters of insulation, the Mutant will keep you warm in frigid water from five to 10 degrees Celsius. Built with O'Neill's top shelf UltraFlex XDS neoprene in the torso, with Firewall insulation in the chest and lumbar, and Fluidflex arms and legs, the Mutant has optimum lightweight mobility and warmth. Designed by O'Neill, Ultraflex XDS with X-Foam is the most gumbalistic and insulative super-stretch neoprene available with a stretch factor of 125 percent, providing more give than any other insulation. Firewall is a lightweight thermal insulation jersey that wicks away moisture and increases overall warmth, and Fluidflex is a lightweight and stretchy neoprene with a soft hand, ideal for the arms and legs. With Fluid Seam Weld (FSW) stitchless seam construction, the Mutant wetsuit is 100 percent seam sealed, adding greatly to the suit's overall warmth. O'Neill welds the neoprene layers of the suit together with a silicone-based urethane seal applied to both sides of the triple glued seam. The glued seams are extremely flexible, lightweight, non-chafing, and waterproof with no entry holes from stitching. LSD (lumbar seamless design) is a single large panel in the rear area of the wetsuit that minimizes water entry and maximizes stretch when sitting on the board. Strategic paddle zones are created with an ergonomic, seamless undersleeve panel that allows for unrestricted motion and eliminates rashing as you paddle. The suit is equipped with abrasion-resistant, high-stretch neoprene Krypto Knee Padz, with ergonomic shaping designed to extend the life of the wetsuit and protect the knee while punching through waves. Plasma Seals at the wrists and ankles prevent over expansion and seal water out.
