- Fitment -- This blacksmith anvil hardy tool's shank is 2" long and tapered from 3/4" at the bottom to 1" at the joint. Fits Hardy Hole of an anvil( it may require finishing to fit your anvil), or can be used in a vise. The shank is slightly tapered, for an optimal fit in the anvil hardy hole.
- Hot Cut Hardy Tool -- Sharp edges can quickly cut off forging hot materials. Used in an anvil or clamped in a vise to cut hot metal. Use the hammer to push the metal through the cutting tool. Cut most of the way through, then break it off to keep the hot metal from splattering.
- Easy to Use -- The hot cut hardy tool allows the blacksmith to work alone, place it in the hardy hole in the anvil, heating the forging and resting it on the ctting edge while striking the forging with an hammer.
